Every table of the series „ A View to Alteration, eine Skizzierung unserer Umwelt“ underlines different aspects of the theoretical analysis :

Through the open display of the roots, the table „See Your Roots“ reminds us of our natural necessi- ties, which are, as Adorno says, replaced by „suggerierten Bedürfnissen“(desired non-essentials)

The interspace of the table „Shadows Of Influence“ is filled with fuid. Movable golden surfaces emble- matise/illustrate the interaction between human, object and environment.
When the golden areas get moved, their shadows change accordingly.

This allows for the table „ACT!“ to still be filled and invites in a figurative sense to act and to change the shadows that are cast by you.

Thoughts are more powerfull if followed by actions. Let’s Act now! Let’s use the current global crises as well as each personal one to act different, think different, see different and reinvent what we thought we know.

Lets create the new future we want to live in aligned with nature.
